Coming soonEpisode 6: That’s Not Kind
Someone says something unkind about Esiri’s skin. He stands tall and uses his brave words, Ramy stands with him, and they tell a grown-up together.
What happens
- Esiri and Ramy are playing in the park.
- Someone says something unkind about Esiri’s skin. The words float up like a grey cloud.
- Esiri stands tall: “Stop! That’s not true, and it’s not kind. Everyone has melanin.”
- Ramy stands next to him. “Let’s tell a grown-up!” They go together.
- It is never your fault. Be the friend who speaks up.
Talk about it
- What could you say if someone was unkind about your skin?
- What could you do if it happened to a friend?
- Who are the grown-ups you can tell? What if the first one doesn’t help?
